Silvina Rubio is an Assistant Professor of Finance. She holds a Ph.D. in Business and Finance from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain. Prior to joining Nova, she was a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Finance at the University of Bristol, UK. Her research focuses on empirical corporate finance, corporate governance, financial intermediation, and ESG. Her work has been published in the Review of Finance and the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, among others. Her research has been presented at numerous international conferences, including the AFA, EFA, and WFA meetings.
