PhD in Decision Sciences from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, in the United States. Manuel Baganha is an Associate Professor at Nova SBE. He is also President of the Social Security Capitalization Fund Management Institute. In 2005, for a brief period, he also assumed the budget portfolio of the State Secretariat, having also been Secretary of State for the Treasury and Finance and Tax Affairs. He teaches in the areas of Operations Management, Supply Chain and Service Management.
